Razakasoa Opens ITA All-American Run Saturday

Long Beach, Calif. - Junior Maeva Razakasoa has been invited to participate in one of the Fall's premiere tournaments, the 2015 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships held in at the Riviera Country Club.

Ranked No. 100 in the country, Razakasoa enters the tournament in the pre-qualifying draw, which begins play on Saturday. Beginning with the Round of 64, Razakasoa will face Maja Mladenovic of Portland at 12:30 p.m.

With a win, Razakasoa would then advance and face the winner of fifth-seeded Sabrina Federici of Texas Tech and Ashley Dai of North Carolina. Federici is currently ranked No. 86 in the nation, while Dai is ranked No. 112.

Prequalifying winners advance to qualifying, held on Oct. 6-7 before the start of the main draw, held from Oct. 8 through Oct. 11.
