Beach Tennis Signs Georgie Sanders During Early Signing Period

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Head coach Jenny Hilt-Costello announced the signing of English prep standout Georgie Sanders to a National Letter of Intent on Thursday. Sanders will make her way to the Beach for the 2015-16 school year from Buckinghamshire, England.
"We are thrilled to have Georgie joining Beach Tennis next fall," commented Hilt-Costello. "She is a very athletic all court player whose game is still on the rise. She is also an excellent student and will be a big contributor to our future athletic and academic successes!"
Sanders is the top-ranked player U18 player in Buckinghamshire and has won the Buckinghamshire Championships at every age level. She has four titles already to her name as the U12, U14, U16 and U18 champion through her youth career.
She currently holds a 3.2 Lawn Tennis Association rating and is the 53rd-ranked U18 British player. Sanders is also currently No. 117 in the Women's Open British rankings.
An all-around athlete, Sanders is a four-sport athlete at her school in Buckinghamshire. She also plays field hockey, netball and rounders.
