Men's Water Polo Host Conference Match and Exhibition Game

Long Beach, Calif. - No. 5 Long Beach State men's water polo will play their second MPSF match this Saturday at 12 p.m. against No. 11 Pepperdine at the Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center at LBSU. In the second match of the day, Beach will be playing an exhibition game at 3 p.m. against Golden West College.
In that last meeting with Pepperdine at the NorCal Tournament, Long Beach State received three goals from Dimitrios Lappas, two goals from Zacchary Kappos, and one goal each from Devin Mefford, Ricardo Guimares, Dan Matulis, Milos Vrzic, and Nolan McConnell. Goalkeeper Pavo Ljepopio had seven saves. Beach outscored the Waves and won the game at 11-4.
Currently, the 49ers are 1-0 in the MPSF Conference and have an overall record of 13-3.
