Long Beach, Calif. - Relive the 2011 Long Beach State season, including the team's memorable run through the Big West tournament, this weekend at the Women's Water Polo Banquet. The banquet will be held on Friday, May 6 at 6 p.m. at The Grand in Long Beach.
The 49ers ran off two wins in the Big West Tournament to reach the championship game, the best finish at the conference championship in program history, while reaching a high of No. 10 in the polls this season.
Fans can join the team for a ceremony and banquet honoring the team this Friday. Check-in begins at 6 p.m., with dinner and the program starting at 6:30 p.m.
