Long Beach, Calif. - Long Beach State plays the first of their final two Big West matches on the road today, as the 49ers take on Pacific at 1 p.m.

Entering the weekend in first place, Long Beach State has a 6-0 record in conference play going into its final two matches. The 49ers will start with Pacific on Friday, followed by the team's final conference match against UC Davis on Saturday.

The results of the matches along with other conference play will determine seeding for the Big West Tournament. Held from April 17-19 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, the winner of the tournament receives the automatic bid for the Big West into the NCAA Tournament.
