Jaedtke Finishes Sixth at Aztec Invite
Apgar is Top Female Finisher

SAN DIEGO--Long Beach State's Dylan Jaedke finished sixth with a time of 25:42 at the 63rd running of the San Diego State Aztec Invitational, while Sarah Apgar was the top 49er female finisher, running 18:18 for 15th place. Eli Rodriguez was 25th with a time of 26:29, while Carly Harris was 30th with a time of 19:01 as both teams were running as a full squad for the first time.
The women's team finished in seventh place with 170 points, behind leader Arkansas (28), who placed all five scorers in the top-10. The men finished in fifth place with 144 points, behind Air Force, who led with 50 points.
"I was very pleased with the effort that both teams had today," said first year Distance Coach Patrick Cunniff. "I was happy about how the men's team paced themselves and competed at the end, while I was encouraged by the number of women who improved on their times from last year."
