49ers Fall at UCLA
WESTWOOD, CA-- No. 2-ranked UCLA (16-1, 8-0 MPSF) remained undefeated in conference play following a 21-3 win over visiting Long Beach State (6-7, 2-3 MPSF) on Thursday evening. Gabrielle Domanic had five goals and Tanya Gandy and Kelly Rulon added four goals a piece. Rulon earlier this year surpassed current 49er Head Coach, Catharine von Schwarz, for second all-time on the Bruins scoring chart. The 49ers return home to host three games beginning on March 22 when they host San Diego State in a conference showdown. UC Davis comes to The Beach on March 26 and Brown on March 27. |
