Azevedo Leads Beach with Four Goals
Beach Defeat Cal 11-9 in First of Three Up North

BERKELEY, CA-- Cassie Azevedo scored four goals, while Alison Braden added two goals as the No. 4-ranked 49ers (13-5, 4-3 MPSF) won their first leg of a three-game roadtrip to Northern California, defeating No. 9-ranked California (10-10, 2-5 MPSF) 11-9.

The Beach travel to Pacific on Saturday, for a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation game. They head to UC Davis in a non-conference matchup on Sunday to finish up their three-game jaunt to Northern California.
