LOS ANGELES, CA-- USC, ranked #1 in the nation this week, came away with an 11-6 win over #7 Long Beach State on Saturday afternoon at the McDonald's Swim Stadium on the USC campus. With the win the Trojans improve to 15-3 ovearll and 5-1 in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF). The 49ers fall to 12-9 and 2-2 in MPSF play. Junior Erik Geoffroy led the 49ers with two goals, while Reid Tomassi, Nathan Allard, Brad Scoles and David Del Grande all tallied one. Final USC statistics were not available.

The 49ers will be home on Sunday, November 2 when they play host to UC Santa Barbara at 12 pm and Occidental at 3 pm.
