Emma Sellers joins the Long Beach State coaching staff prior to the 2026 season, returning to Southern California after an outstanding career as a player with South Carolina.

Sellers started 137 games over four seasons at Southern Caroliina, hitting a career-best .278 as a senior while and finishing her career with 68 runs scored and a pair of home runs with 40 RBI as an infielder for the Gamecocks. Sellers originally played for Los Alamitos High School where she was a standout shortstop with the Griffins and a top recruit nationally.

She begins her coaching career with Long Beach State after serving as a Youth Athlete Mentor and Camp Instructor at South Carolina in addition to her playing career.
