Women’s Golf Returns To Action At Leadership & Golf Invitational

Long Beach State returns to Chambers Bay Golf Club for the second straight year.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State Women's Golf returns to action for their second fall tournament, taking part in the Leadership and Golf Invitational beginning on Monday, September 14 across two days of action.
Long Beach State us returning to the tournament where they competed last season for the first time, which will again be held at Chambers Bay Golf Club in University Place, Wash. The Beach is coming off of a solid start to the season at the Pan-Pacific University Golf Super League in Japan. The Beach finished 6th among 12 teams in the international field with two Top 20 finishers.
Leading the way in the lineup for Long Beach State will be junior Kylie Phi. The San Diego State transfer competed last week in Japan, and opened the tournament with a 72 in her first round with LBSU.
Sophomore Chloe Park will make her first appearance of the season, playing second for Long Beach State. Park played in eight tournaments as a true freshman for the Beach in 2025-26. Senior Alyson Sor will play third, veteran Erin Lee will play fourth after a Top 20 finish in Japan, and Emma Kang rounds out the lineup for Long Beach State.
Facing a 17-team field, defending champions Eastern Michigan return along with Tulsa, San Francico, Santa Clara, San Jose State, Gonzaga, SMU, Arkansas-Little Rock, Colorado, UC Davis, Louisiana-Monroe, Cal Poly, Grand Canyon, Washington, Oregon State, and the hosts, Seattle University.
