Valencia Fortenberry - Season and Career Statistics
2020 (Sophomore)
Outdoor: Finished third in the 4x400m relay (3:56.00), ninth in the 400m hurdles, and 13th in the 100m hurdles at the Beach Opener before the season was canceled due to COVID-19.
Indoor: Ran 9.46 in the 60m hurdles at the MPSF Championships but did not advance out of the preliminaries ... Season-best 9.35 in the 60m hurdles came during the Air Force Team Challenge (seventh) ... Ran the 200m twice with a best-time of 27.41 at the Don Kirby Elite Inviattional.
Prior to LBSU: Set a season-best in the 100m Hurdles at the CCAA Championships as a freshman for San Francisco State… Part of the team that won the 4x100m Relay at the Art Dual Meet with a time of 4:09.78.
High School: At Rodriguez HS, Fortenberry was a finalist at the San Joaquin Section Masters in the 100m hurdles and 400m hurdles.
Personal: Majoring in Criminal Justice.
