18 Long Beach State Student-Athletes Earn MPSF Academic Honors

LBSU records highest number of MPSF honors since 2019.

LONG BEACH, Calif.--18 Long Beach State student-athletes who are members of the Beach Indoor Track and Field teams were named as MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athletes, Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Executive Director Foti Mellis announced on Apr. 10.

To be eligible for the Academic All-Conference Team, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum 3.00 cumulative institutional grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically, have completed one full academic year at the member institution before the season, and have competed in at least 50 percent of the institution's contests in their respective sport.

The 18 LBSU competitors selected are the most for the program since 2019 (17).
