2016 (Redshirt):Â Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Long Beach State program.
2015 (Freshman)
Outdoor: Competed primarily in the 800m ... Claimed runner-up honors in a season-best 1:53.23 at the Big West Challenge ... Added top-10 showings at the Cal Opener and Jim Bush Collegiate Challenge ... Placed 11th in the preliminaries of the Big West Championships (1:54.54) ... Ran the 1500m at the Anteater 4-Way Meet.
Indoor: Did not compete.
High School:Â Earned four letters in both track and cross country at Lakewood High School ... Three-time Moore League champion in the 800m ... Also won the event at the 2013 CIF-Southern Section Division I Championships in a lifetime-best 1:52.56 ... Went on to finish ninth at the state meet ... Garnered All-State honors for his efforts.
