Levi Arzac
Levi Arzac enters his second season as a volunteer assistant coach at Long Beach State in 2026, working with the program’s pole vault squad.

In his first year with The Beach, Arzac made an immediate impact, helping Jonelle Scott break the school record in both the indoor and outdoor pole vault. Scott went on to qualify for the NCAA West Regional, place third at the MPSF Championships, and finish seventh at the Big West Championships in a tie with teammate Grace Stoddart.

Prior to joining Long Beach State, Arzac served as the assistant pole vault coach at Southern Utah from 2022–24. During his time there, he played a key role in building the vault program from the ground up, developing it from no athletes to producing eight top-10 marks in school history, including two program records. His coaching also helped the Thunderbirds earn their first men’s and women’s conference points in the event in more than a decade.

A native of Houston, Texas, Arzac began pole vaulting at the age of 12 and went on to become an all-region vaulter. A multi-sport athlete, he also competed in football, soccer, wrestling, swimming, and cross country before turning his full focus to coaching and developing the next generation of vaulters.
