Senior Nina Moore was named the Big West Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
Nina Moore was Long Beach State's top finisher as she placed seventh overall with a season-best 17:43.7.

Finished 59th at the Pac 12 Preview (20:03.1, 5k) ... Ran 17:55.5 at the Bronco Invitational (35th) ...Turned in an 18th-place finish at the Big West Championships, running 21:10.8.

2011 (Junior): Opened the season with a fourth-place finish at the Asics Opener (22:25.3, 6k) ... Placed 10th at the Asics/UC Irvine Collegiate (17:58.5, 5k) ... Was 105th at the Roy Griak Invitational (22:22, 6k) ... Finished 17th at the Bronco Invitational (17:38.8, 5k) ... Was 11th at the Big West Championships (21:07.3, 6k) ... Came in 78th at the NCAA West Regional (21:55).

2010 (Sophomore): Finished second at the Aztec Invitational, running 18:05.6 on the 5k course ... Was 23rd at the Stanford Invitational (21:38, 6k) ... Placed 12th during the 5k Bronco Invitational (17:25) ... Was 19th at the Big West Championships, running 21:28.8 ... Was 103rd at the NCAA West Regional, running 21:56.99 ... Ran unattached at the Cal State Fullerton Opener, finishing sixth in a time of 22:37.5 over the 6k course.

Prior to LBSU: Led Glendale College to the 2009 CCCAA Cross Country Championship ... Also won the CCCAA individual title ... Garnered CCCAA All-America honors in track in 2010.
