Ronnie Lopez joined the Long Beach State coaching staff in the fall of 2021. He serves as the strength and conditioning coach for the Dirtbags.
Lopez has been a strength and conditioning coach for the last eight years and is the founder and owner of DEUCE Athletics, founded in 2014.
At DEUCE, he is responsible for developing youth, high school, and collegiate baseball athletes as well as introducing new and different styles of training. In his time, he has specialized in both individual workouts with minor leaguers in their off-season as well as large team environments, including over ten local travel teams across Southern California.
Lopez got a mathematics degree with a minor in business administration at Chapman University where he also played baseball. At Chapman, he received the Man of Integrity Award and was a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society.
