Jenna Giambi Returns To Long Beach State As Assistant Coach

The former team captain returns to the Beach after a stint in Europe.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Natalie Reagan has filled her coaching staff by bringing in a former player as Jenna Giambi returns to the Beach as an assistant coach.
"We are thrilled to welcome Jenna Giambi back to Long Beach State in this new role. Jenna's experience as a former player, captain, and leader in this program gives her a unique ability to connect with our athletes and uphold our standard. Her passion, knowledge, and commitment to building something special make her a perfect fit for our staff."
Giambi spent five years with the program including a redshirt season, concluding her time at the Beach in 2024, serving as a team captain and making 220 digs as the Beach went 19-11 under Natalie Reagan in her first season. Giambi was a two-time Academic All-Big West selection and served as the team's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative as a leader on and off of the court.
After graduation, Giambi moved to England where she was a starting libero as a graduate student for Durham University. During her time there, Giambi helped Durham post an undefeated 4-0 record, winning three national championships, including the MAAREE Women's Super League and the BUCS National Champion.
In addition to her playing career, Giambi has multiple years of club coaching experience, working as an assistant coach with Mizuno Long Beach as well as a head coach with Pinnacle Athletic Club and SC Rockstar.
"Long Beach State has always been home to me," said Giambi. "It is truly an honor to return in this new role, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to represent the program and community that has given me so much. I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside such an amazing coaching staff and support our student-athletes as they grow both on and off the court."
