Women’s Golf Holds Even In Final Day Wyoming Cowgirl Classic

Senior Madison Le wrapped up her 11th Top 20 finish in her career.
MARICOPA, Ariz. – Freshman Kailey Yoon had the best round of the final day, finishing under par while senior Madison Le was the team's top finisher overall at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Course in Arizona.
Final Results
Freshman Kailey Yoon shot a 71 in the final round, closing her tournament by moving up 11 spots to tie for 25th overall. Le ended the tournament even after a final round 74, tying for 13th overall in her best finish of the season, surpassing a tie for 15th at the Molly Collegiate Invitational.
Alyson Sor also had a good day, moving up 18 spots Wednesday with a 72, finishing the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic with back-to-back rounds of even par. Emma Kang finished the tournament with a 78, Chloe Park had the team's drop score, and individual Erin Lee wrapped Wednesday with a 74.
Overall as a team, Long Beach State finished in 14th place in the 20-team field.
The tournament was the team's final test before the postseason begins with the Big West Championship. This year's tournament will be held at the Royal Ka'anapali Golf Course in Lahaina on Maui over three days beginning on Sunday, April 19.
