Long Beach State travels to Arizona for a three-day tournament.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State Women's Golf returns to competition over the weekend, taking part in the MountainView Collegiate hosted by Kansas State at The Preserve Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz.
Long Beach State is coming off of competition at the GameAbove Invitational, and will face off against 15 other teams in a 16-team field with one round each over three days starting on Friday, March 20.
Alyson Sor was the top finisher for Long Beach State at Rolling Hills Country Club, and the junior will lead the lineup for the Beach. Sor has now been the top finisher for LBSU in two out of three tournaments this spring. Senior Madison Le will play second as the veteran continues her consistent play.
Junior Erin Lee will play third, while Kailey Yoon gets the nod in the fourth position after sitting out the GameAbove Invitational. Junior Emma Kang rounds out the Long Beach State lineup. Kang was the top finisher for the Beach at the Bruin Wave Invitational on February 23-24.
The field features hosts Kansas State along with Cincinnati, Colorado State, Houston, Iowa, Iowa State, Marshall, Missouri, Nebraska, North Texas, San Diego State, Texas Tech, UTSA, Wichita State and Wisconsin.
