VALENCIA, Calif. – Juniors Emma Kang and Erin Lee shared the team lead after two rounds following the first day of the Bruin Wave Invitational, played at Valencia Country Club.

Day One Results

Lee had back-to-back rounds of 77, while Kang had the day's low score for Long Beach State with a 75 in the second round. Senior Madison Le was just one stroke behind that pair, carding a 77 in the second round after a 78 in the first.

Kailey Yoon ad Alyson Sor bounced back from tough opening rounds to both shoot four-over rounds of 76 in the second round, both counting scores for the second round as the Beach made a push up to a tie for 10th overall after the first day.
