Lucy Miszewski Named Big West Women’s Water Polo Player Of The Week

The senior scored a career-high five goals against No. 3 USC.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Senior Lucy Miszewski was named Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week after leading No. 7 Long Beach State on offense in their home opener.
The Beach (7-5) fell to No. 3 USC, 16-8, in the first game at the renovated Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center as Miszewski scored a career-high five goals against the Trojans.
The senior utility ranks second on the team with 30 goals this season and has dished a team-high 25 assists to go along with 17 steals. Miszewski has 32 sprint wins for an 82% efficiency, leading the league.
Long Beach State will battle once again against USC on Friday afternoon in the first round of the Barbara Kalbus Invitational hosted by UC Irvine. Ball drops at 4:30 p.m., with live stats provided through TheFOSH.net.
