Beach Heads to Texas Tech for Jarvis Scott Open

Long Beach State continues its indoor season this weekend as the Beach travels to Lubbock, Texas, to compete in the two-day Jarvis Scott Open at the Texas Tech Sports Performance Center, beginning Friday afternoon.

Long Beach State travels to Texas Tech' Jarvis Scott Open this weekend. Friday's field events began at 12pm PT followed by track events at 5:45pm PT. Saturday's field events began at 9am PT followed by track events starting at 8:45am PT.

KNOWLES NAMED MPSF MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Long Beach State's Tyler Knowles was selected MPSF Male Track and Field Athlete of the week on Feb. 4.
At the New Mexico Team Open, in weight throws Knowles placed 2nd with a spectacular personal best of 19.85m (65'1 1/2") and lands him 8th All-Time in school history. His mark also ranks second in the conference and is top 70 in the nation. This was the first career MPSF weekly award for Knowles.
