Women’s Golf Continues Fall Competition At Molly Collegiate Invitational

Hosted by Oregon State, the team will be in action September 29-30.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State Women's Golf will bring a big group to their third of five tournaments for the fall as the team participates in the Molly Collegiate Invitational hosted by Oregon State.
The Beach will bring a pair of individuals in addition to the regular lineup to Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Oregon, facing off against an eight-team field that will including San Diego State, Nevada, Boise State, Oregon, Cal and UC Irvine in addition to the hosts Oregon State and Long Beach State.
Junior Emma Kang has led Long Beach State in each of the team's first two tournaments, and will lead the lineup at Trysting Tree starting on Monday. Her top finish so far this season was a Top 5 finish in the season opener at the Dick McGuire Invitational from New Mexico.
Freshman Kailey Yoon will continue to play in the lineup, moving up to the second spot in her third collegiate tournament, while Alyson Sor will play third for the Beach, matching her team finish to start the season at the Dick McGuire Invitational.
Long Beach State's two veterans will round out the lineup, as senior Madison Le will play fourth and junior Erin Lee will play fifth for the Beach this coming week.
Freshman Chloe Park will return to action after a one tournament break, playing as an individual after being part of the lineup in the first tournament of the season. Making her collegiate debut will be freshman Summer Schafer, who will also be playing as an individual with Long Beach State.
