Long Beach State’s two veterans led the team through two rounds in Oregon.
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Junior Erin Lee shot a two-under par 70 in the second round to climb into the Top 10 after the first two rounds at the Molly Collegiate Invitational hosted by Oregon State.
Day One Results
Long Beach State's two returners with the most experience led the way on the day, as Lee ended the day at two-over par through two rounds while Madison Le was one stroke back, three over par after a first round 73 and a second round 74 on the day.
Emma Kang, who has led Long Beach State in their first two tournaments this season, ended the day in a tie for 20th overall following a first round 74 and a second round 75. Fellow transfer Alyson Sor was two-strokes behind Kang at seven-over, while Kailey Yoon also shot a second-round 74 after starting the day as the team's drop score.
Long Beach State brought two freshmen to play as individuals, with Chloe Park ending the day in 35th after a second-round 74 while Summer Schafer was 47th after her first day of collegiate competition.
Long Beach State ended the day in fifth place overall in the seven-team field, with Oregon State leading after 36 holes.
