Long Beach State finished the regular season unbeaten at home in Big West play.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – With a dominant performance against UC Riverside and a critical win over league leaders UC Davis, Long Beach State Women's Volleyball was rewarded with three Big West Weekly Awards on Monday. Logan King was a double winner, named the Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week, while Madi Maxwell was selected as the Big West Setter of the Week.

Logan King led Long Beach State in kills during both matches, hitting .526 with 11 kills in a 25-14, 25-9, 25-13 win over UC Riverside. King then followed that performance with 16 kills on .343 with 13 kills for a double-double as the Beach handed UC Davis just their second league loss, allowing LBSU to finish off the Big West slate a perfect 9-0 at home.

The Freshman of the Week honor was the sixth of the season for King, one short of the conference record, and the redshirt freshman is now a two-time Offensive Player of the Week award winner.

It's been a multiple award season for sophomore Madi Maxwell as well, as she claimed her third Setter of the Week. Maxwell averaged 10.29 assists per set while leading the Beach to .304 hitting over the two matches last week.

Long Beach State finishes the regular season with a pair of road matches, facing UC San Diego at 6 p.m. on Tuesday night before taking on Hawai'i late Saturday night. The Beach has secured their spot in the upcoming Big West Championship, which will be hosted by Long Beach State in the Walter Pyramid November 26-29.
