Freshman Chloe Park shot a career low 69 in the second round from Kauai.
LIHUE, Hawaii – Freshman Chloe Park led the way for Long Beach State Tuesday with a career-low 69 as Women's Golf climbed four spots to finish the second day of the Rainbow Wahine Invitational in eighth place.
Day Two Results
Park had four birdies and just one bogey to record her third round of par or better in her first season, climbing 59 spots on the leaderboard to move into a tie for 28th place.
Senior Madison Le also had an excellent day, finishing with a 71 to lower her score to +1 for the tournament and move into the Top 20 in a tie for 18th overall.
Junior Emma Kang ended the day with a 74, while Erin Lee and Alyson Sor each shot 79 on the day. The combined effort was good to move Long Beach State well up the leaderboard, well within striking distance of the Top 5 entering the final round of the tournament.
