LIHUE, Hawaii – Senior Madison Le was the top finisher for Long Beach State at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational, tying for 29th overall as Women's Golf finished their final tournament of the Fall on Wednesday.
Final Results
Freshman Chloe Park had the team's low score for the second straight day, closing out the tournament with a 74 including a pair of birdies. Madison Le was one stroke behind Park on Wednesday but one stroke better for the tournament, closing the tournament in a tie for 29th overall in the 112 golfer field at four-over par.
Erin Lee and Alyson Sor closed out the scoring rounds of the day, each finishing the tournament with a score of 76. Lee tied with individual Kailey Yoon at +12 after three rounds, while Emma Kang and Sor were one stroke behind that duo at +13 overall.
As a team, Long Beach State placed 13th overall, just behind Grand Canyon and in front of the hosts Hawai'i and Boise State who tied for 14th.
Long Beach State will take a break over the winter before kicking off the Spring with their own tournament, the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic beginning on February 14 from Monterey Country Club.
