Junior Erin Lee Co-Champion As Women’s Golf Starts Spring Season At San Diego State

Lee shared top honors with San Diego State’s Ema Narita with a 2-under 70.
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Long Beach State Women's Golf began the spring season with a one-day dual match. Junior Erin Lee shared top honors on the day with Ema Narita of San Diego State, as the pair were co-champions of the dual, each finishing with a 2-under par round of 70 on Sunday.
Playing at The Grand Golf Club in San Diego, Lee matched her season and career-low with a round of 70 as the co-champion. Freshman Kailey Yoon, who had earned the second spot in the lineup, lived up to her strong qualifying play by also shooting under par on Sunday, finding the podium with a score of 71. Senior Madison Le shot a 76 to place in sixth, one spot ahead of junior Emma Kang who tied for seventh place with a 77.
Competing as an individual, junior Alyson Sor finished one stroke in front of freshman Chloe Park as the pair had the non-counting team scores of the day. San Diego State won the team competition by one stroke.
Long Beach State will host the Alice and John Wallace Invitational as the team begins spring tournament play beginning on February 14, 2026 at Monterey Country Club in Palm Desert, Calif.
