LIHUE, Hawaii – Long Beach State had two golfers at one over par and three at two-over in a solid first day from the Rainbow Wahine Invitational at Ocean Course Hokuala in Kauai.
Day One Results
Junior Erin Lee was the top player in the lineup for Long Beach State on Monday, picking up two birdies on her second nine holes to finish the day with a 73. That was tied with freshman Kailey Yoon, who as an individual matched the best round of her young career with a 73.
Madison Le, Emma Kang and Alyson Sor all shot 74 in the first round of competition on Monday, while freshman Chloe Park had the team's drop score on the first day.
Overall, Long Beach State is in 12th place as a team in the 19-team field with two rounds to play.
