Women’s Golf Ties For Fifth At Golf Iconic Classic

Long Beach State will play in one more tournament before taking a break after the fall season.
LAS CRUCES N.M. – Junior Erin Lee led Long Beach State Women's Golf in the third and final round of the Golf Iconic Classic hosted by New Mexico State, finishing the tournament with an even-par 216.
Final Results
Lee started the tournament with a 70 on Monday, and tied for 15th overall on the individual leaderboard, shooting 74 on Wednesday to lead the Beach.
Freshman Chloe Park wrapped up the best finish of her young career, tie for 22nd overall at +1 through 54 holes, a score that matched junior Emma Kang as Kang finished at 217 overall following Tuesday's 66. Alyson Sor closed the tournament with a 77, while freshman Kailey Yoon was the team's drop score on Wednesday.
Long Beach State tied for 5th place overall with Houston Christian and Northern Colorado, while Boise State held on for the team win from the New Mexico State University Golf Couse.
Long Beach State Women's Golf will be right back in action, finishing their fall season by heading to Kauai to take part in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational, hosted by Hawai'i over three days beginning on October 20 at Ocean Course Hokuala.
