Senior Sophia Fernandez was a First Team All-Big West selection, and was a CSC Academic All-District selection for the second straight season. Fernandez ranked in the Big West's Top 3 pitchers in wins, ERA, innings pitched and opposing batting average in league action. Going 11-5 with a 1.73 ERA over 113.1 innings pitched, Fernandez started 18 games in Big West play and limited opponents to .221 hitting. Fernandez is graduated in May with a degree in Health Science with an emphasis in Community Health Education.
As repeating as Academic All-District was infielder Carly Robbins. Completing her third season athletically, Robbins started all 54 games for Long Beach State in the infield, driving in 23 RBI with six doubles, two triples and a pair of home runs on the year. Robbins graduated in May with a degree in Health Care Administration.
Junior Jacquelyn Bickar was a first time selection. A Health Care Administration major, Bickar was another key starter, starting all but two games during the year and hitting .275, third best on the team while leading Long Beach State with 12 stolen bases on the year.
