Long Beach State Earns USTFCCCA Cross Country Academic Awards

2023 Marks 26th Time LBSU Women Merit The Honor
NEW ORLEANS – The Men's and Women's All-Academic Teams for the 2023 NCAA Division I Cross Country season were announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Both Long Beach State programs were honored by the USTFCCCA.
To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. The Beach men's program recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.024. The women's team tallied a cumulative GPA of 3.305.
This is the 26th consecutive season in which the Beach women's program has earned this honor. The Long Beach State men earned the honor for the first time since 2018.
