THE KICKOFF
Long Beach State returns home for a pair of matches this week. The Beach hosts UC Davis on Thursday night. The action gets underway at 6 p.m. The first 100 fans through the turnstiles receive a "LB Soccer" Travel Mug.

On Sunday, LBSU hosts Cal State Bakersfield for a 5 p.m. start. It is Long Beach State's Pink Game and AYSO Night.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
Coming off a bye week, UC Davis is 8-4, 1-2 in the Big West. The Aggies were last in action on Sept. 29 when UC Davis dropped a 2-1 decision to Cal State Bakersfield in Davis
.
The Aggies lead the Big West in scoring 26 goals. Genavieve Fontes is the individual leader, posting eight this season. She also leads the league in points with 18. Teammate Sam Tristan is second in the conference in goals with seven and second in points with 16.

Caeley Goldstein has played every minute in goal this season for UC Davis. She has made 49 saves, the fifth most in the Big West. Goldstein has recorded three shutouts.

SCOUTING THE ROADRUNNERS
Cal State Bakersfield begins the week with a 4-8-2 overall record and a 2-1-1 record in the Big West. The Roadrunners played to a 1-1 tie against UC Riverside on Sunday night. CSUB is at UC Irvine on Thursday night before heading to Long Beach State.

On Monday, Sara Ybarra, a Long Beach State transfer, was named Big West Offensive Player of the Week. She scored against UC San Diego in the 3-0 victory over the Tritons before posting the game-tying goal at UC Riverside.

Roadrunner goalies Hollee Hercik and Kamy Anaya have combined for 76 saves this season. Hercik is 3-4-1 with a 1.31 goals-against-average, 45 saves, and two shutouts in 10 starts in 2024. Anaya is 1-4-1 in four starts (six appearances). She has made 31 saves.

Karen Flores leads the team in goals (4) and points (9). Cynthia Ramirez is the club leader in shots (17) and assists (2).
