This week, the Beach will conclude their regular season with a pair of road back-to-back conference dual matches at UC Irvine on Thursday, April 20 and at UC Davis on Saturday, April 22.    Â

ABOUT LBSU:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
13-time Big West Tournament Champions, Long Beach State enters their last week of the 2022-2023 regular season week with an 8-9 overall record and a 4-3 Big West record while currently sitting in sixth place in the Big West Standings. Peppi Ramstedt leads the Beach with an overall 22-7 doubles record while Ramstedt and Rhona Cook have maintained a perfect 7-0 doubles conference record. Ramstedt and Cook have continued to shine as a duo all season long. The tandem collected their 15th doubles victory on Friday, April 14 against CSUN. They are riding an eight-match winning streak and currently own a 15-4 doubles record. Additionally, Justine Dondonay has been on a hot streak, earning her sixth-singles victory in a row on Friday, April 14 against CSUN as well. For the year, Sheena Masuda currently leads LBSU with a 15-11 singles record. Entering their dual matches this week, LBSU owns a 32-31 record over UC Irvine, while also owning a dominant 19-1 record over UC Davis.     Â
ABOUT UC IRVINE:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
The Anteaters come into the week with a 2-5 conference record and sit in eighth place in The Big West Standings. They have dropped their last two matches against conference competition, UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly. UC Irvine will host Long Beach State this Thursday as it will be their first and only meeting this dual season. The Anteaters will look to garner their third conference victory of the dual season. For the year, Asha Gidwani has an 11-3 singles record while also leading the team with an 11-2 doubles record.  Â
ABOUT UC DAVIS:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
The Aggies own a 3-5 conference record and are seeking their fourth conference victory of the season after taking down conference foe, UC Riverside 6-1 on Wednesday, April 12. Before taking on Long Beach State on Saturday, April 22, UC Davis will travel to Sacramento State for a non-conference dual match on Friday, April 21. The Aggies currently sit in seventh place in The Big West Standings. For the season, Arianna Stavropoulos owns a 13-6 singles record while teammates Stavropoulos and Yana Gurevich own a 11-6 doubles record.   Â
LAST TIME OUT:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Long Beach State concluded their home schedule with a conference win over CSUN, 5-2. The Beach earned four points in a row before the Matadors got on the board. With the win, the Beach captured their fourth conference victory of the year behind a collective effort on Friday afternoon.Â
