LONG BEACH, Calif.—After a trip to La Jolla where they finished 3-1 in the Triton Invite, No. 8 Long Beach State will be back at the Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center on Saturday at noon when they face Loyola Marymount.
Long Beach State (6-2) is coming off of two straight wins after beating No. 12 Indiana 15-8 and outlasting No. 10 Fresno State in a game that came down to the final seconds. At the Triton Invite, the Beach also faced off against Loyola Marymount and came out with an impressive 16-7 victory. The Lions enter the week with a 3-6 record after a 1-3 performance at the Triton Invite.

Her previous season high is 30. Freshman Elisa Portillo also added nine goals to her tally and now has 11 on the season. Junior Anne de Kleer has a chance to make history this weekend as she approaches 100 career goals. She currently has 96 and would be the 21st 100 goal scorer in program history.
