Ko’s Two-Under Highlights Second Day For Women’s Golf In Coeur d’Alene

The junior closed the day with a great stretch to move into a three-way tie for the team lead.
COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho – Junior Hannah Ko and freshmen Madison Le and Janae Leovao finished up the second of three days of competition at the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate Invitational with the same score through two rounds at the Coeur d'Alene Resort.
Ko had an outstanding finish on the day to ultimately shoot two-under par of the day. Ko birdied three of her final five holes and climbed up to a tie for 29th overall with a strong round on Monday. Le and Leovao each carded a 74 in round two, and share the same score of four-over par through two rounds with Ko in the Top 30.
Jasmine Leovao shot a 79 as the fourth counting score for Long Beach State on the day, while Chloe Carraway finished with a round of 84. Long Beach State bettered their score of Sunday as a team, but fell behind some of the teams in the field to stand alone in 14th place overall in the 19 team field.
