Hertzka in her final season at Long Beach State led the Beach with 70 goals on the year.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Coming off an outstanding season that saw her score a team-high 70 goals, senior Orsi Hertzka was named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-America squad, earning third team honors.

A senior hailing from Budapest, Hertzka returned to the team following a redshirt season in 2021, and bounced back in a huge way with 70 goals and 19 assists, finishing third in the Big West in goals scored while leading the Beach to the third seed in the Big West Championship and a final ranking in the 2022 season of No. 9 in the nation.

Hertzka's third team pick garnered her All-America honors for the third time in her career, joining a short list of just two other players in Long Beach State history to be named a three-time All-American in Cassie Azevedo and Angelica Garcia.

Hertzka finishes her career ranked fourth in career goals scored at the Beach despite playing just over two full seasons over the course of 2019, 2020 and 2022 with 183 goals during her time at the Beach.
