Marilia Mimides earns final Big West Player of the Week Honor.
Honolulu, Hawai'I — The Big West announced on Wednesday that senior Marilia Mimides is the final Big West Athlete of the Week after her career-best six goals against Cal State Northridge last week.
The senior's career-high helped the Beach clinch the No. 3 seed at this week's Big West Tournament and the award marks the first time Mimides has earned the honor.
Mimides scored all her goals in the second half against the Matadors and four of them were in the fourth period.
