Ko, Kim Co-Team Leaders After First Day Of Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational

Both sophomores are tied for 20th after two rounds.
EWA BEACH, Hawaii – Sophomore Hannah Ko and Anglina Kim shared top honors on the day for Long Beach State as LBSU competed in their second tournament of the spring in Hawaii at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational.
Both Kim and Ko were eight-over par after two rounds. Kim had the low round of the day for Long Beach State with a one-over par 73 in the second round, while Ko maintained her consistent play with a 77 and a 75 in her two rounds.
Hunter Pate, Vanessa Richani and Kristina Ponomareva were all five strokes off of the pace set by Kim and Ko on the day. A true freshman, Ponomareva bounced back with a second round 76, while Pate and Richani carded identical rounds of 77 in the first and 80 in the second.
