Hannah Ko In Top Three After Two Rounds Of The Fresno State Classic

Ko sits one-under par after a tremendous start to the tournament.
FRESNO, Calif. – Hannah Ko shot a one-under par 71 to start the day, and after an even par round two is third overall out of 87 competitors, one of three participants under par on the first day.
Ko is just three strokes off of the leader, Fresno State's Jessica Hall, and paced the Long Beach State effort on the day that saw the team tied for 13th place overall.
Chloe Carraway battled through a lingering injury to shoot a 76 in the first round, the second-best score of the round, but was forced to withdraw from round two.
Angelina Kim and Vanessa Richani each rallied for improvements from their opening round scores. Kim is tied for 40th overall after a two-over par 74 in the second round, a score that was matched by Richani in round two, an eight-stroke improvement for the sophomore.
The final round of the Fresno State Classic is scheduled to tee off Tuesday morning. Beach fans can follow the live scoring via GolfStat.com.
