Hannah Ko Finishes Sixth At Fresno State Classic

The sophomore was one-over par following three rounds of play.
FRESNO, Calif. – Sophomore Hannah Ko finished with another strong round at the Fresno State Classic to finish in sixth place overall, the highest finish for an LBSU golfer this season. Ko had a final round 74 to finish at 217 over three rounds, one-over par.
Long Beach State placed in 14th overall as a team in the tournament. Angelina Kim was second place finisher for the Beach, finishing in a tie for 50th overall after a final day 79. Freshman Kristina Ponomareva carded her best round of the tournament with a 78, the same score as Vanessa Richani finished with on the day. Richani was the third finisher for LBSU in the tournament.
Chloe Carraway was able to continue on Tuesday after having to withdraw from the second round, but placed as the last individual due to the incomplete tournament.
The Beach will have one final tournament prior to the Big West Championships. The Beach will compete at the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Classic at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Arizona on April 4 and 5.
