Women’s Tennis Set for a Pair of Road Matches in San Diego

The Beach will compete against San Diego State and San Diego on Friday and Saturday, respectively
LONG BEACH, Calif. - Long Beach State hits the road for the first time this season as
the Beach take on San Diego State on Friday, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m., before facing San
Diego on Saturday, Feb. 12 at noon.
Coming off a 4-3 win over UC Davis last Saturday, the young Beach team is looking to
continue to build on several solid performances as the duos of Sheena Masuda and
Zara Lennon along with Peppi Ramstedt and Claire Le Du won the crucial doubles point
for LBSU.
"We are looking forward to our first road matches of the semester against two very
strong San Diego teams," said Head Coach Jenny Hilt-Costello. "They will be tough
matches, but we are ready for the challenge."
