LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State Men's Basketball returns to a full schedule in 2021-22, with a full slate of games on the schedule for the first time in two years. The Beach will have 14 home games on the year in the Walter Pyramid and face a number of marquee opponents close to home in the upcoming season.

Long Beach State opens up the season on the road on November 10, taking a trip to Idaho to face a former Big West opponent before heading across town to Pauley Pavilion as the Beach and UCLA renew their rivalry in Westwood on November 15.
The home opener for Long Beach State will come two days later as the Beach hosts Utah Valley as the series with the Wolverines renews after a win for LBSU in 2019 in the Walter Pyramid.
The Beach will take their longest trip of the year just prior to Thanksgiving to take part in the Naples Invitational, hosted in Naples, Fla. The eight-team field features only mid-major teams, an excellent opportunity to gauge the team's early progress.
Returning to California, the Beach will face San Diego State for the first time since 2015, and then host the return game of the programs series with Loyola Marymount at home. The non-conference schedule then concludes with home games against Bethesda and La Sierra and road trips to USC and San Diego.
2021-22 will also mark the first full time through the expanded Big West Conference since the addition of CSU Bakersfield and UC San Diego to the league. The conference schedule will actually start before the new year with a road trip to Cal Poly and CSU Bakersfield. After a trip across town to Cal State Fullerton, the Beach will then host three straight home games against Hawai'i, UC Santa Barbara and CSUN. That run is part of 10 of the final 17 games of the season being in the friendly confines of the Walter Pyramid.
The Beach closes the season at home, facing UC Davis on March 3 before taking on UC Riverside on Senior Night, March 5, and then moving on to the new-look Big West Tournament.
All teams will advance to the conference championship, which will be held concurrently with the women's championship from March 8-12 at the Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nevada.
All games within the Walter Pyramid as well as the entirety of the Big West conference schedule will be broadcast live on ESPN+ as part of a larger Big West agreement throughout the 2021-22 season.
Season tickets are now available, and start at only $99 per seat. To put down a season ticket deposit, CLICK HERE, or call/text (562) 985-4949 for more information and available seat locations.
