The 28 Long Beach State runs marks the second-most runs for a single-game in program history.
The 28 LBSU runs are the most in a game since April 17, 1998 when the team scored a program record 30 runs against Nevada. The 43 total runs for the series is the most in a single series since scoring 45 runs against CSUN back in 2004.
Long Beach State scored in seven of the nine innings and multiple runs in six of those seven innings, including a nine-run top of the seventh. In the two innings that the Dirtbags did not score, they were retired in order.
Every player in the Dirtbag starting lineup scored at least one run. The team had nine different players record a hit and eight different players record an RBI.
On the pitching side, Long Beach State had five pitchers appear with Devereaux Harrison having the longest outing of 3.2 innings, allowing two earned runs on four hits. Dirtbag starter, Alfredo Ruiz, lasted 0.1 innings surrendering five runs on two hits and three walks.
For Pacific, they had 10 different pitchers throw with the starter lasting the longest at 2.1 innings.
Among the top performers, Brennan Rozell went 4-for-5 with four runs scored and four RBI setting personal career-highs in every offensive category.
Javier Rosales and Jonathon Long each recorded their first career multi-HR games. Rosales was 3-for-6 with four runs scored and five RBI, including a grand slam. Long was 3-for-5 with four runs scored and four RBI with a pair of walks. They also became the first duo to hit back-to-back home runs since May 5, 2015.
Connor Burns connected for his first career home run with a three-run shot in the seventh inning while Jesse Lopez and Toren Craig recorded multi-hit games.
Connor Kokx extended his reached base streak to 20 straight games with a 1-for-2 performance with three walks and three RBI.
The Dirtbags are back in action next weekend as they host conference favorite, UC Santa Barbara at Bohl Diamond at Blair Field.
