Long Beach State Women’s Golf Closes Busy Stretch At Arizona Wildcat Invitational

Long Beach State will play for the third consecutive week in Tucson.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State will hit the course for a third straight week, teeing off Monday at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational. The tournament will feature two rounds on Monday followed by a final round on Tuesday.
Hosted by Arizona at Sewailo Golf Club, the tournament features a large field of 16 teams. Hosts Arizona and 2021 Gold Rush champions USC are joined by Colorado, Oregon and Oregon State from the Pac-12. Long Beach State is the only Big West school competing as the field is rounded out by Denver, Iowa, Iowa State, Northern Arizona, Nebraska, New Mexico State, Oklahoma State, Texas, New Mexico and UNLV.
True freshman Angelina Kim will take the lead spot for the Beach after her share of the team lead at the Bruin Wave Invitational, followed by Hunter Pate who as the co-leader for LBSU last week. Senior Holland Shourds will play third for the Beach, with freshmen Chloe Carraway and Vanessa Richani rounding out the lineup for Long Beach State.
