Day Two Complete For Long Beach State At Bruin Wave Invitational

SOMIS, Calif. – In conditions similar to round one on Monday, Long Beach State battled high winds at The Saticoy Club in the second of three rounds at the Bruin Wave Invitational, co-hosted by UCLA and Pepperdine.

                Freshman Angelina Kim remains the low-scorer for Long Beach State in the tournament, closing Tuesday in a tie for 41st overall after shooting an 84, and recording a 163 through two rounds. Sophomore Hunter Pate had the low round on the day for Long Beach State, shooting an 83, while Vanessa Richani bounced back from Monday with an 84. Holland Shourds and Chloe Carraway both finished with an 86 on the day for Long Beach State.

                After two rounds, the top three in the fifteen-team field are Arizona State, New Mexico and Oregon.
