Point Guard Jason Hart Jr. Commits To Long Beach State

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Men's Basketball Head Coach Dan Monson and his staff has announced that point guard Jason Hart Jr. has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at Long Beach State starting in 2022-23.

Jason Hart Jr. is a skilled point guard who is finishing his high school career at St. Bernard High School, the same school as current LBSU big man Romelle Mansel. Hart Jr. enters his senior season rated as the No. 41 point guard prospect in the nation. He previously played at Taft High School and Dorsey High School, impressing straight away as a freshman at Dorsey by averaging 11.6 points and 34 assists per game.

Hart Jr. is the son of Jason Hart, a standout at Syracuse and a 9-year NBA former pro who is currently the head coach of the Ignite of the G League.
