Women’s Golf Finishes First Day Of The Clash At Boulder Creek

The Beach ended the opening day in a three-way tie for 14th.

BOULDER CITY, Nev. – Sophomore Chloe Carraway led the Beach on the first of three days at The Clash at Boulder Creek, finishing three over par on the day.

                As a team, the Beach finished the opening day at Boulder Creek Golf Course with a share of 14th overall with Portland State and Southern Utah. Sophomore Angelina Kim was one stroke behind Carraway with a four-over par 76.

                Hunter Pate finished with a 78 in her home state, while Vanessa Richani rounded out the scoring for Long Beach State with a 79. True freshman Kristina Ponomareva finished her first team round with Long Beach State with an 8-over par 80, but also recorded a team-high three birdies on the day.
