Long Beach State will be back on the road after working as the host for the last two tournaments.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Coming off of a successful home tournament, The Gold Rush, where Long Beach State finished in third place in a strong field, the Beach will head back on the road to participate in the Wildcat Invitational hosted by Arizona at Sewailo Golf Club on March 9 and 10.
The field includes the hosts as well as Oregon from the Pac-12, a large collection of Mountain West teams in UNLV, New Mexico and Fresno State as well as Tulane, Denver, Iowa State, and New Mexico State.
Fresh off of her top five finish at The Gold Rush, the lineup is led by senior Maria Davis, while reigning Big West Women's Golfer Of The Month Hannah Ko will hold the second slot. The remainder of the lineup will feature Holland Shourds, Hunter Pate and Euna Pak, while freshman Vanessa Richani will participate as an individual after her strong play in the last month.
Live scoring throughout the tournament can be found at www.golfstat.com. The tournament will start with two rounds on Monday, March 9 before a final round concluding on Tuesday, March 10.
